For over two years, the city of Augsburg, Germany has been putting together a bid to become the Cultural Capital of Europe in 2010. When looking for help to create materials for the bid, they turned to Factor Design. Drawing on the experience and expertise of various city organizations and councils, Factor Design worked with leaders to help articulate how we could develop a progressive yet authentic story line for this historic German city. The resulting entry is an exquisite set of books. One hard bound, the other soft cover, these books lead the reader through a sequence of stories and commentary about the illustrious city from multiple perspectives and reference points. From the editorial stories to the typeface and the stunning photography, the entry materials Factor Design helped create are as unique as the city of Augsburg itself. |
